The Vinaya Piṭaka, the canonical text of the training laid down for the Saṅgha. This volume is Pārājikapāḷi — which, despite the name, runs from the Pārājika (defeat) through the Saṅghādisesa and the Aniyata to the Nissaggiya (forfeiture) — in the Burmese Chaṭṭha Saṅgāyana edition, volume 1 of 5 in its collection.
