VINAYA PIṬAKA · Expiation, Rules for Nuns · volume 2 of 5
The Vinaya Piṭaka, the canonical text of the training laid down for the Saṅgha. This volume is Pācittiyapāḷi — the rest of the monks' rules from the Pācittiya (expiation) on, and after them the whole of the nuns' rules, the Bhikkhunīvibhaṅga — in the Burmese Chaṭṭha Saṅgāyana edition, volume 2 of 5 in its collection.
Canonical text. The English is the draft of this programme, translated from the Pāli in our own wording. Corrected 7 October 2026: the cover and Background had glossed only the first section of the volume.
How it ends
Ime kho panāyyāyo satta adhikaraṇasamathā
Dhammā uddesaṃ āgacchanti.
